Washington Savings Bank is donating funds in support of the Sarah Bush Lincoln Mobile Mammography unit through its fundraiser.
The Washington Savings Bank Mattoon and Lerna locations are donating funds raised from its pumpkin contests to the Mobile Mammography unit, as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The “Pink Pumpkin Contest” at each of the Washington Savings Bank locations features decorated pumpkins by the staff. Customers may vote for the pumpkin they like most by placing donations in corresponding containers, and Washington Savings Bank is donating those funds to SBL.
Washington Savings Bank has donated proceeds to SBL for the Mobile Mammography in the past. The SBL Mobile Mammography unit travels to communities in SBL’s 10-county service area to offer accessible mammography testing for residents.
