Sarah Bush Lincoln will host its 30th annual golf benefit on Friday, June 14, at Meadowview Golf Course. Net proceeds from the event will benefit construction of Sarah Bush Lincoln’s new outpatient surgery center.
Procedures to be performed in the new center include ophthalmology, ENT and some orthopedic surgeries. The 18,000-square-foot facility will be situated just east of Prairie Pavilion 1 and is expected to take about a year to complete.
Sarah Bush Lincoln’s Golf Benefit offers golfers the option of either a morning or afternoon flight. A continental breakfast will be available during morning registration, which begins at 6:30 am, prior to a 7:30 am tee off. Lunch will be served from 11 am to 2 pm, and registration for the afternoon flight, which tees off at 1 pm, will begin at 12 noon. Golfers are encouraged to wear SBL golf shirts from previous years in commemoration of the event's 30th anniversary.
Prizes will be awarded to winners of challenges on nearly all 18 holes during a reception from 6:30 to 8 pm in the snack shop. Prizes include: gift certificates from area restaurants; Cardinals baseball tickets, Chicago Bulls tickets, Illini football tickets, Nascar tickets, furniture / home décor and outdoor living & patio items.
The lucky winner of this year’s raffle will win a Resort Vacation Certificate and $1,000 travel cash. This prize offers a world of vacation options in desirable locations across six continents, so everyone can find a destination they want to visit. Some of the most popular locations include Orlando, FL; Branson, MO; Myrtle Beach, SC; Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; and Canadian Rockies, Canada. Reservations must be made by August 8, 2019.
